The results of the 2011 H.E.Bates Short Story Competition were announced on January 18th by Head Judge Katie Fforde at the prizegiving evening at Moulton Theatre Studio, Northampton.
First prize: Something To Remember Me By - Anthony Howcroft Second prize: Gondwanaland - Brenda Ray Third prize: Another Love Story - Susan Chadwick Under 18 prize: The Boar - Tom Dixon Humphreys
As Anthony Howcroft is a Northamptonshire writer, there was no separate Northamptonshire prize winner
